"The former chief economic adviser apparently removed papers from the Oval Office desk, fearing the economic damage that Trump might do if he signed them. Thats one way of putting it. The other is to say that this is an effort to subvert the Presidents agenda and the will of millions of Americans who voted for him. " "For better or worse, the ballot box is where elections are decided and in November 2016 the American people spoke. The problem for Mr or Ms Anonymous is that you weren¿t elected to decide. Donald Trump was." Enough said.

I don't think it's fake news. He obviously don't like Trump, and his wife complained about it.   It is news worthy.

Kellyanne Conway said her husband's anti-Trump tweets were 'a violation of basic decency' if not their 'marital vows'

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway recently shared some strong words about her husband's viral anti-Trump tweets with a reporter, but only wanted to be quoted as "a person familiar with their relationship."

Washington Post reporter Ben Terris published an extensive profile of the dynamic between Conway and her husband, conservative lawyer George Conway, on Tuesday. It was the first story in which the two opened up about how President Donald Trump has complicated their relationship.

For more than a year, George has been publicly critical of the president on Twitter, while Kellyanne is often on TV defending him. In the Post profile, George, who introduced Kellyanne to Trump, said he now wishes he never did.

Kellyanne, meanwhile, said she believes there is a part of George "that thinks I chose Donald Trump over him," which she said "is ridiculous."

But asked about her husband's anti-Trump tweets, Conway said they are "disrespectful."

"I think it disrespects his wife," she said.

A few days later, Terris circled back on the remark. And Kellyanne expanded on her thoughts.

"It is disrespectful, it's a violation of basic decency, certainly, if not marital vows," she said, then asking to have that quote attributed to "a person familiar with their relationship."

Terris refused, saying they were on the record during this portion of the discussion.

'Melania wouldn't be caught dead in a camo hunting jacket': Painting of Trump 'Crossing the Swamp' inspired by Washington across the Delaware sparks social media frenzy

Painting of Trump 'Crossing the Swamp' is released

A new painting has been unveiled showing President Trump navigating a flooded Washington DC swamp in George Washington-style as members of his administration brandish rifles. Utah-based conservative artist Jon McNaughton posted an image of his new artwork 'Crossing the Swamp' on Twitter on Tuesday.  It is a replica of the historic 'Washington Crossing the Delaware' painting but includes a number of high profile members of Trump's administration. Those on Twitter were quick to mock the painting as some pointed out how Donald Trump Jr. didn't make the crew and that Carson appeared to be rowing backwards.

Supreme Court rules for Trump in challenge to his administration's travel ban

The U.S. Supreme Court

The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday in favor of President Donald Trump in Trump v. Hawaii, the controversial case regarding concerning Trump's September order to restrict travel to the U.S. for citizens of several majority Muslim countries.

In the 5-4 opinion penned by Chief Justice John Roberts, the court found that Trump's immigration restriction fell "squarely" within the president's authority. The court rejected claims that the ban was motivated by religious hostility.

"The [order] is expressly premised on legitimate purposes: preventing entry of nationals who cannot be adequately vetted and inducing other nations to improve their practices," Roberts wrote. "The text says nothing about religion."

'We're like the piggy bank that everybody is robbing': Defiant Trump doubles down on commitment to fairer trade and threatens to 'STOP trading' with some of America's closest allies unless they can agree on tariffs

Trump tries to defuse tensions at G7 breakfast after insisting on trade tariff changes

On Saturday morning, the president eventually took his  seat next to IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde and German Chancellor Angela Merkel who had been pictured gazing towards the door and his empty seat as they sat with fruit and croissants in front of them. He spoke jollily with them and received adoring looks from his French President Emmanuel Macron before appearing at a press conference to discuss the 'productive' few days in Charlevoix near Quebec. Trump said he had effectively communicated his plan to reduce trade tariffs but did not indicate what the reaction was from foreign leaders, saying only that his relationships with Merkel, Macron and Trudea were all 'a 10'. 'The US has been taken advantage of for decades and we can't do that anymore. We had extremely productive discussions on fair and reciprocal - that means the same - trade.

I'm still very irritated that the Republicans allowed Obama and his minions to get away with it. I know Obama would have screamed racism and bigotry which he did on occasion but something should have been done. All the Republicans did was roll over and allow everything Obama did, we have been blessed with President Trump but this stuff needs to stop, we are not an Islamist state, Socialist state or Dictatorship we are a Constitutional Republic and Obama did NOT have the authority to circumvent the Constitution or the law. The Progressive Liberal Democrats need to be stopped and I don't care what color or religion/theocracy they are.

You're just out to get Trump: Judge lashes out at Mueller's prosecution of Paul Manafort and says special counsel is only trying to get former campaign chair to 'sing' about the president so he can build case for impeachment

Judge says Mueller is prosecuting Paul Manafort just to get Trump campaign chair to 'sing'

A federal judge on Friday sharply criticized Special Counsel Robert Mueller's criminal case in Virginia against President Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort (center), and openly questioned whether Mueller exceeded his prosecutorial powers by bringing it. 'I don't see what relationship this indictment has with anything the special counsel is authorized to investigate,' U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis (left) in the Eastern District of Virginia said as Manafort appeared in his court room. Judge Ellis suggested the real reason Mueller is pursuing Manafort is to pressure him to 'sing' against Trump.

The husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway shared a link to Federal Election Commission (FEC) rules after it was revealed that President Trump reimbursed his personal attorney for paying adult-film star Stormy Daniels hush money.

George Conway tweeted the link, which points to rules on personal loans.

"If any person, including a relative or friend of the candidate, gives or loans the candidate money 'for the purpose of influencing any election for federal office,' the funds are not considered personal funds of the candidate even if they are given to the candidate directly," the FEC rules read.

"Instead, the gift or loan is considered a contribution from the donor to the campaign, subject to the per-election limit and reportable by the campaign. This is true even if the candidate uses the funds for personal living expenses while campaigning."

'I feel raped' says Trump's former doctor whose office was raided to get president's medical records as he claims he felt like a 'slave' when Trump dictated the glowing letter that quelled health fears in 2015

Bornstein felt like 'slave' when Trump dictated glowing health letter

NEW Harold Bornstein says the demand to give Trump a clean bill of health made him uncomfortable but he did it anyway. He says he felt 'like the slave that carried out the orders that came from Fifth Avenue.' The new twists and turns in Bornstein's story follow his public acknowledgement of a 'raid' on his office last year carried out by Trump's bodyguard to seize the president's medical records. 'I feel raped. ... Raped, frightened and sad, he said.

Homosexuality will be in sharp decline within 50 years anyway. Soon the science will exist to eliminate the underlying genetic defect in the developing baby in the early stages of pregnancy. Within 100 years it will be all but extinct in the developed world.  Or more simply, Muslims will just throw them off roofs, as liberals say nothing.

Ivanka is just 'playing government' so why send her to the Olympics? How Trump's chief of staff John Kelly lashed out in private at first daughter's Korea trip

Kelly lashed out in private at Ivanka Trump's Korea trip

NEW Chief of Staff John Kelly was not initially 'enthusiastic' about sending first daughter and top White House adviser Ivanka Trump to South Korea as the leader of the American delegation for the closing ceremony of the Olympic games. CNN reported that Ivanka Trump's unique position in the White House is ruffling feathers, with Kelly getting increasingly frustrated over the first daughter having it both ways – she'll play the role of White House adviser when it best suits her, and first daughter when being an official doesn't get her what she wants.

Piers Morgan has revealed the fascinating reason why Donald Trump had a piece of paper covering his glass of water during their recent interview. In an interesting insight into life as the president of the United States, Morgan explained that it was to prevent Trump from being poisoned when drinking water. Discussing the ITV interview where Trump and Morgan faced off, the Good Morning Britain presenter described the swarm of employees surrounding the president. He said: 'One woman who came in, working for the White House for years - she said she's here for the presidential water - it's my job to supply the water'. Dubbing it the 'new Watergate', Morgan continued and said the dark haired woman returned shortly after with a jug of water and carefully poured a glass for the Trump.
