'A morning show bride of Frankenstein': Megyn Kelly's debut NBC show is panned by critics as host is accused of totally failing to connect with her audience

Megyn Kelly debut NBC show is panned by critics

Critics tore into Kelly who - after carving a career for herself as a respected political journalist, appeared to flounder as she tried to paint herself as warm and fluffy mid-morning TV show host. Time 's Daniel D'Addario said the former Fox host had totally failed to connect with her audience on Megyn Kelly Today. 'If there was one message that Megyn Kelly sought to impart in the first installment of her new NBC talk show, Megyn Kelly Today, it was this: The old Megyn can't come to the phone right now.

Liberals liked her when she was at Fox and irritating Trump. Now they can't stand her at NBC

Alex Jones has released what he claims is a secretly recorded conversation between himself and Megyn Kelly - and is threatening to release the full covertly-recorded audio of their controversial interview before it airs on Sunday.

The Infowars founder on Thursday night hit back at Kelly before the interview even airs, claiming the NBC host will misrepresent his views after she spent the week being hammered by all sides for interviewing the Sandy Hook conspiracy theorist.

In a video posted to Jones' Twitter, a recording of an apparent pre-interview phone call between the two is played, with a woman who sounds like Kelly saying: 'All I can do is give you my word and tell you if there's one thing about me, I do what I say I'm gonna do, and I don't double-cross.'

'You know you just became very fascinating to me. I just always thought you were this maybe, one-dimensional guy, like this is your thing…'

'My goal is for your listeners and the left - you know, who will be watching some on NBC - to say, "Wow, that was really interesting."'

'And then the next time I wanna get somebody, they're gonna say, "Look what you did to Alex Jones!" It's not going to be some gotcha hit piece, I promise you that.'

News of Kelly's interview with Jones has caused outrage, with the parents of Sandy Hook children objecting to her giving Jones the publicity. They were backed up by a number of parents, including Chelsea Clinton.

Amid growing anger, Kelly has been fired as the host of a Sandy Hook charity event and JP Morgan Chase has dropped its adverts from NBC until after the interview airs.

Jones now claims that Kelly will edit the piece to make him look crazy, and so he plans to show his own side of the conversation with an unedited version of the interview.

In the video posted to his Twitter he said: 'Tonight at Infowars.com, we're going to have the full behind-the-scenes with Megyn Kelly released.'

'God, she was like, "I want to get steaks with you, I'm obsessed with you, oh my god," you know, wailing around in her seat - it was all c**p.

'And I knew it was all a lie. I said Sandy Hook happened, everything, she wouldn’t even put it in the promo pieces.

Double-crossing: Alex Jones (seen in video released Thursday), the host of Infowars, says he is planning to release his own behind-the-scenes footage of his interview with Megyn Kelly

Suspicious: Jones (seen in a preview for Sunday's episode) says he suspected Kelly and NBC would misrepresent him in the TV special over his claims Sandy Hook massacre was a hoax

Steve Bannon on Megyn Kelly: 'She's the devil'
Months before Donald Trump blew up American politics with his surprise win in November, he did the same thing to the conservative media. Through much of the campaign, two very different media moguls with colliding visions for the Republican Party vied for Trump’s soul: Roger Ailes, the longtime president and CEO of Fox News, and Steve Bannon, the executive chairman of the populist online tabloid Breitbart. Both were angling to be the media Svengali whispering in Trump’s ear.

'Megyn Kelly rocking her Claire Underwood hair ': Fox host wins over Twitter with her election night haircut

She began the night as a Hillary gal. Then Trump's numbers surged and she looked sad and uncomfortable. By the end of the night after once again bringing up the woman card she tried to save herself by talking as if she was impartial. She was so stiff and artificial that everyone could see she is a really bad actress. Bet she went home and cried. Fox is never going to give her twenty million now. Maybe she can work for msnbc as a temporary intern.

Fox anchors at war: Sean Hannity accuses Megyn Kelly of being a HILLARY supporter... after she said her fellow host is a 'safe space' for Donald Trump

Sean Hannity blasts Megyn Kelly over Donald Trump comments

Fox News host and Donald Trump supporter Sean Hannity has lashed out at network co-star Megyn Kelly after she said he offers the Republican nominee a 'safe space' to speak. Kelly (left) made the remark that set Hannity off during a segment on Wednesday night about how Trump and Hillary Clinton are preparing for the debate. 'They've designed her situation so she is not in a place she feels uncomfortable or where anything unexpected could come at her,' she said of Clinton, before turning her attention to the Republican nominee. 'And Donald Trump, with all due respect to my friend at 10:00, will go on Hannity and pretty much only Hannity and will not venture out to the unsafe spaces these days.' Hannity (right), who has reportedly been an informal adviser for the Trump campaign since earlier this year, tweeted (inset) furiously at Kelly after her comments aired. '@megynkelly u (sic) should be mad at @HillaryClinton Clearly you support her. And @realDonaldTrump did talk to u (sic),' he said.

It's just my opinion, but I think it makes her look "hard and hostile." Beauty, of course, is in the eye of the beholder, and Kelly is a beautiful woman. But I don't like her new hair cut.

wow. how pathetic. It would be one thing if she said something like "hey, I've got 3 kids and a full time job, who has the time?" But 'empowered'? By a haircut? She's not only shallow, she's boring.

Fox News’ Megyn Kelly in GQ: T&A gets you to #1!

REPEATING THIS STORY FROM 2010.... The Time is fitting, as we are led to believe that she is above reproach in her questioning of Trump!

Your eyes aren’t fooling you: that really is Fox News’s Megyn Kelly in the most recent edition of GQ Magazine.

The blonde-haired, and pregnant, anchor of “America Live” sat down with GQ’s Greg Veis for the December issue. The article’s titleis to be expected: “She Reports, We Decide She’s Hot.”

While the magazine has not yet made a link available for the story, TVNewser does have some excerpts, including the magazine’s description of the conservative host:

Abhorred by the left, adored by the right, frequently pinata’d by The Daily Show, Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly has become the very blonde face—and legs—of the network. And she’s okay with that.

In the magazine interview, she boasts about Fox’s ratings: “You may have heard that we’re number one—we’re pretty good at advertising that.”

And also manages to discuss fan mail:

BILL VS MEGYN-  FOX MAD!  (The B!tch is on her way DOWN!)

As the ongoing feud between Fox News host Megyn Kelly and GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump continues, CNN reports that an additional conflict is heating up internally at the news station.

According to CNN Money, the acrimony between Kelly and fellow Fox News host Bill O’Reilly is also on the rise and can be felt throughout the halls of Fox. Most recently, O’Reilly had Trump on his show after he very publicly announced his refusal to participate in Fox News’ GOP debate with Kelly as a moderator. While O’Reilly asked Trump to reconsider his boycott of the debate, he did not passionately defend his fellow Fox cohort, even as Trump said she was “highly overrated” and he had “zero respect” for her.

Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly waits to begin the Republican presidential candidate debate at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa, U.S., on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016. Candidates from both parties are crisscrossing Iowa, an agricultural state of about 3 million people in the U.S. heartland that will hold the first votes of the 2016 election on Feb. 1. Photographer: Andrew Harrer/Bloomberg *** Local Caption *** Megyn Kelly

While Kelly didn’t mention O’Reilly’s lack of support on her own show, that began less than one hour after O’Reilly’s, CNN reported that those inside Fox were “buzzing,” and CEO Roger Ailes was not happy. One supporter of Kelly told CNN that it was a “betrayal.”

“He’s never had a serious challenger like her before,” a high-ranking Fox source told CNN.

“We’re thrilled to have the two biggest stars in cable news on one network,” a Fox spokesperson told CNN when asked about the feud.

As CNN noted, the two hosts have duked it out as far as ratings have gone, and Kelly has come out on top quite a bit lately. Kelly’s contract is up for renewal at Fox in 2017, and O’Reilly’s is also up after the 2016 presidential election.

'Voldemort': Megyn Kelly's astonishing off-camera Trump insult revealed as Fox feud with The Donald overshadows debate - and channel claims he DEMANDED $5 million to end his boycott

Megyn Kelly calls Donald Trump Voldemort as his Fox feud overshadows debate

Ted Cruz revealed how Megyn Kelly described Donald Trump as 'Voldemort' - the embodiment of evil in the Harry Potter books and movies (inset) - as she chatted to Republican candidates before last night's TV debate. Cruz (pictured second left at the debate with Ben Carson) made his revelation when he was interviewed by Kelly (center) after the debate, saying: 'Well, you know, you were joking just before we went on air that it was sort of like Voldermort, he who must not be named.' The debate itself began with a dramatic attack by Kelly on Trump - entirely overshadowing the seven White House contenders on stage - when she called The Donald 'the elephant not in the room'. Across town Trump (right) had flown in on his private jet for a rally raising money for veterans. He used it to claim Fox had apologized to him and kept begging him to turn up - right to the last minute. However Fox claimed he had demanded $5million for his own charity to show up.

EXCLUSIVE: 'I wanted a wife... so did she'. Ex-husband of Megyn Kelly speaks out about his marriage to the FOX News star and reveals he didn't CHEAT on her - and it 'bugged' him that she hinted he did on air

[254ED8BF00000578-0-image-a-73_1422981536902]

FOX anchor Megyn Kelly and Dr. Dan Kendall (right) were together for eight years, married for almost five. He speaks for the first time about his marriage to the cable superstar, telling Daily Mail Online that even though he never betrayed her he was hurt when Kelly twice publicly alluded to the man who cheated on her - just saying it's not her current husband Doug Brunt (inset).
Dr. Kendall says they had a beautiful church wedding in Chicago and reception at the Waldorf in Chicago in 2001. A Rolls Royce picked them up. 'It was very extravagan,t' he says.'But we both needed someone to cook and clean. She has very much a Type A personality. She needed a Type B husband.' Brunt is a writer who primarily works from home.

I think GWB doesn't understand my position on the story. My position is that she is only there because of her looks- and her photo shoot proves it and she herself knows it! She uses T&A to get ahead and it is working. I don't watch her show, I won't watch her 9PM show- I think she is a typical Fox News type journalist- MORONS! She can be real bitchy, but really doesn't have a clue with facts. Just an FYI

she gives weight to the fact that men wanna see her exposed body.
right bob barney?
bob proved that above.
did he post any brilliant ideas she has?...no
did he post a sexy photo he found on the internet?....yes.

the average american will not spend the 9pm hour
listening to words her staff wrote to give her something
to talk about.
sure she'll have some regular nightly viewers...
so does al sharpton on msnbc...so what?

her job is to show her legs and wear a ton of makeup
to look like she's pretty on tv and get ratings to
raise investment revenue.

girls in strip clubs do exactly the same thing.

like i said: "who cares"
