Popular weapons manufacturer Mossberg ended its relationship with Dick’s Sporting Goods Wednesday, and the statement announcing the news was glorious.

Dick’s recently made the decision to stop selling certain semi-automatic rifles, and it has led to some serious backlash. The company has also pushed for gun control, which was apparently the final straw for Mossberg.

Mossberg released the following statement announcing its decision:

O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc., a leading American firearms manufacturer, announced today its decision to discontinue selling products to Dick’s Sporting Goods, and its subsidiary, Field & Stream, in response to their hiring of gun control lobbyists in April 2018.

Effective immediately, O.F. Mossberg & Sons will not accept any future orders from Dick’s Sporting Goods or Field & Stream, and is in the process of evaluating current contractual agreements.

“It has come to our attention that Dick’s Sporting Goods recently hired lobbyists on Capitol Hill to promote additional gun control.” said Iver Mossberg, Chief Executive Officer of O.F. Mossberg & Sons. “Make no mistake, Mossberg is a staunch supporter of the U.S. Constitution and our Second Amendment rights, and we fully disagree with Dick’s Sporting Goods’ recent anti-Second Amendment actions.”

As a big gun guy, it makes me very happy to see Dick’s Sporting Goods paying the price for having anti-Second Amendment views. Gun control isn’t something you can be one-foot-in and one-foot-out about.

You’re either all-in with the Second Amendment or you’re not. That’s the overwhelming view of the gun community, and companies like Mossberg know it. Springfield Armory dropped the sporting goods chain last week, and you can bet there will be many more who follow. Gun companies don’t want to be seen doing business with a company that appears to be infringing on our rights.

And we all know that once one domino falls, it doesn’t take much to get a massive chain reaction. Stay tuned to find out just how big of a price Dick’s is going to pay for pushing gun control and ending its sale of some semi-automatic rifles.

Ohio high school senior who refused to participate in anti-gun walkout protest is SUSPENDED after sitting alone in classroom

Ohio student suspended for staying in classroom during walkout

Hilliard Davidson High School senior Jacob Shoemaker opted out of Wednesday's national walkout and refused to join the students that stayed behind. He isolated himself to be apolitical in the gun violence protest. Because he neglected to join either group and was alone without supervision, he was given a one day out-of-school suspension. The school district said it's responsible for students' safety and they can't be left unsupervised.

BOMBSHELL!

Anti-gun activist David Hogg made contradictory statements about where he was when the Parkland shooting took place, based on several video interviews.

For example, in this interview, Hogg describes being in an “AP environmental science” class when he heard gunshots, which he claims prompted his teacher to shut the door.

NRA Gains 500,000 Members in a Month. Evidently this turd forgot about Newton’s Third Law: for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction. We nominate David Hogg as NRA Recruiter of the Month.

Without mandatory gun safety classes for teachers and mandatory range practice, more students will be shot by teachers in Florida than are ever killed by active shooters.

Changing gun laws 'not achievable', says father of Parkland victim

Andrew Pollack, whose daughter Meadow, was killed in the Parkland school shooting has warned against focusing only on gun laws, and not overall school safety. 'Gun laws right now are not achievable. My daughter was murdered by a gun. She should have been safe in the school, he told CBS this weekend. Meadow, 18, was 'stalked and shot nine times' by Nikolas Cruz, (inset) 19, a former student of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Valentine's Day.

Your life well depend on your action! Please call the President immediately at 202-456-1111 or 202-456-1414 and tell him that you do NOT support one word of the gun control measures that he's supporting.  Let him know that you will surely "remember in November" if he does NOT get veer off from his anti-gun agenda. And click here to send emails to your Senators with the same message.

The government shouldn't be picking winners and losers with tax favors to those with well-heeled lobbyists. Still, serves Delta right.
