"At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood. He will also invade the Beautiful Land. Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab, and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand. He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape. He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the riches of Egypt with the Libyans and Nubians in submission." (Daniel 11:40-43) Here we see that Daniel predicted the current conflict in the Middle East. The "Beautiful Land" is the literal land of Palestine. Of course the King of the South represents the modern Muslim powers continuing what began during the Crusades. The King of the North, the Papacy, does not do the actual fighting. As he sent the Christian kings to do his fighting during the Crusades, he now has his modern Christian "kings" to do his bidding again. Let us look at modern history to better understand this text. Daniel refers to it as "Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon." Since the end of the war, the British had divided the land of Transjordan into three local administrative districts... Faced with the determination of Emir Abdullah to unify Arab lands under the Hashemite banner, the British proclaimed Abdullah ruler of the three districts, known collectively as Transjordan. Confident that his plans for the unity of the Arab nation would eventually come to fruition, the emir established the first centralized governmental system in what is now modern Jordan on April 11, 1921." Jordan has continued to keep it"s independence in that region. And Daniel predicts that it will continue to be independent. The Hashemite dynasty traces its ancestry all the way back to the Prophet Mohammed
If we look at recent history, we can see that the Northern Alliance (The King of the North) is slowly, but surely, taking control of Palestine and the rest of the Muslim countries in the region either by military force (Afganistan and Iraq) or by economic coercion. By buying the oil of countries such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, by providing economic assistance to countries like Egypt and Yemen, by establishing economic sanctions against countries such as Libya and Iran, the US, with varying support from its western allies, is breaking the will of the Muslim countries that will not make peace with Israel. Peace in the region ultimately means coming to terms with the "god of fortresses." There was a time when the USSR provided a balance of power by helping Arab leaders such as Gamal Nasser of Egypt. But those days are gone. Therefore, we are seeing a clear, historic fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel, chapter 11. “But reports from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many. He will pitch his royal tents between the seas at the beautiful holy mountain. Yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.†(Daniel 11:44, 45)
The prediction reveals to us that the King of the North, the Papacy, will establish an official presence in Jerusalem, taking control of the Temple Mount. Many will be fooled to think that peace will come of this event (I Thessalonians 5:3). But when that happens, it will be the sign that the prophet Jesus warned us about, "the abomination that causes desolation (Mathew 24:15)" in the "holy place." Believers will see through the deception and flee from a worldwide persecution (see Mathew 24:16-29). I suspect this will happen through the idea of Jerusalem as the "Universal City." To those who claim there is only a spiritual fulfillment, I say, let us be consistent with the prophecy. In Daniel 11 and Matthew 24 we are given literal, earthly signs.
God uses literal, local, earthly events to point us to spiritual, universal truths. So how did this conflict in the Middle East begin? It began with the Papacy, in 1095 AD, calling for Holy Crusade (a “Jihadâ€) against the Muslims to take the Holy Land. According to the New Testament, the Holy Land is not on earth, it is in Heaven (Hebrews 11:14-16). The Papacy has never apologized for or changed its intentions to take control of the land of Israel. The US and Britain are being used to accomplish this purpose. Israel (Judah) will never have peace until the Papacy ultimately reigns in Jerusalem, and then only a "short time."
Strict separation of church and state is more important today than it ever has been. Our government should be neutral in this religious controversy, especially in light of the history of that region. Unfortunately no one in American politics has the courage to go against the Jewish and so-called Christian influence. Our country is being lead like the “tail wagging the dog.†So who is the real Superpower? I have good Jewish friends and have nothing against the Jewish people, after all they are part of God's people too. But they should not expect preferences from our government due to their race, heritage or religion. This interpretation of Daniel 11 omits the Jewish people. Why? According to the Bible they are not in Israel! Bob has many good articles on The Plain Truth to demonstrate this fact beyond reproof.
We should understand that we are witnessing the prophecies of the Book of Daniel coming to light in our own lifetime! What a wondrous time we live in. God is revealing His plans to us now. I hope everyone reads this website everyday and learn the secrets that the great false church has been hiding from the world. My hats off to what The Plain Truth is doing, keep up the work.

That's MINNESOTA as in MINARET [Andy McCarthy] From the state that brought you the flying imams, our first Muslim congressman, Muslim cabdrivers who refuse to ferry alcohol-bearing passengers, and Muslim students who coerced a disabled student to leave school by threatening to kill his medical-aide dog (because their religion declares dogs unclean), now comes [drum-roll ...] Muslim mortgages! John Hinderaker has the details at Powerline. The most interesting detail is that they are being structured by the state government. This is another gambit from the burgeoning field known as "shariah compliant finance." Shariah, the Muslim legal code, does not countenance interest. So the game is to structure transactions that would not occur absent interest payments without calling those payments "interest." Here, the state buys a home and sells it to Muslim buyer at an increased up front price that factors in what the payments (plus interest) would have been on, say, a 30-year mortgage. The payments are stretched out over the usual period but, presto!, you have something you can pretend is all payments and no interest. It's far from the most dicey financial transaction anyone's ever heard of — after all, no one's getting hurt and its arm's length ... at least ostensibly. But on that point, what makes the state government think it has to, or should, use taxpayer funds to structure financial transactions that accord with a religious code? (Perhaps — and far be it from me to be a nag here — the ACLU might take a few moments away from worrying about poor Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the 9/11 terrorists to consider whether state-sponsored shariah is up there with creches at courthouses on the list of outrages against the Constitution to be avoided.) And, given that shariah is anti-democracy, anti-equality, anti-freedom of conscience, and understood by a sizable number of Muslims to command jihadist attacks on the United States, is it really something we ought to be incorporating into American law? |

FROM WND'S JERUSALEM BUREAU Muslims vandalize Christian graves Crosses smashed: 'We don't feel safe anymore'
Posted: May 25, 2009 8:15 pm Eastern
By Aaron Klein © 2009 WorldNetDaily JERUSALEM – Palestinian Christians in a normally quiet village are reeling from a series of grave desecrations this week that they say are indicative of intimidation tactics from the town's growing Muslim population. "Christians don't feel free anymore. Our way of life is changing while the Muslim population grows," a local Christian told WND. The Christian would only give his first name, Anis, for fear of Muslim retaliation if he speaks out. He pointed out there are several other Anis's in his village, Jisna, which is located near the West Bank city of Ramallah. This week, 70 Christian grave sites in Jisna were vandalized, with the crosses on top of the graves found smashed off, local Christians told WND. http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=99148 |

Reply with quote | #15 | Nashville hotel boots anti-jihad conference
A Nashville, Tenn., hotel has summarily cancelled a meeting scheduled in its facilities by the New English Review, which is holding a conference this weekend called "Understanding the Jihad in Israel, Europe and America" and featuring a video presentation by Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders. WND had reported only about 10 weeks ago when Wilders, whose film "Fitna" warns that Islam is threatening Western civilization, was banned from entering the United Kingdom. Wilders had been invited to Britain in February for a special private screening of "Fitna" for Parliament in what already has been a controversial event because of challenges to his right to show the film. "Fitna" features Quranic verses shown alongside images of the 9/11 terror attacks, the 2004 attacks in Madrid and the 2005 attacks in London. The film calls on Muslims to remove "hate-preaching" verses from the text of their holy book.

Reply with quote | #17 | Legendary Christian coach canned after student converts
Muslim principal allegedly irate that wrestler left Islam to be baptized Posted: July 27, 2009 11:41 pm Eastern
By Drew Zahn © 2009 WorldNetDaily Fordson High School, Dearborn, Mich. | A high school hall-of-fame and Christian wrestling coach in Dearborn, Mich., claims he was muscled out of his long-tenured coaching job by the school's principal, a devout Muslim, because the administrator was furious over a student wrestler who had converted to Christianity from Islam. Gerald Marsazalek has coached wrestling for 35 years at Dearborn Public Schools, amassing more than 450 wins and, in addition to being added to the Michigan High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame, was named "Sportsman of the Year" by the All-American Athletic Association. Despite Marsazalek's success, however, Principal Imad Fadlallah of Dearborn's Fordson High School ordered the administration not to renew the coach's contract, allegedly in retaliation over the student's conversion and to continue a campaign of flushing Christianity out of the school. "We are getting a glimpse of what happens when Muslims who refuse to accept American values and principles gain political power in an American community," said Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, which is representing Marsazalek. "Failure to renew coach Marszalek's contract had nothing to do with wrestling and everything to do with religion."
Marsazalek is suing both the principal and the school in the U.S. District Court of Eastern Michigan, seeking back pay, injunctive and declaratory relief, damages, and to be reinstated as coach of the wrestling team. According to lawsuit documents, Principal Fadlallah's retribution against the Christian coaches serving Fordson High began in 2005, after Marsazalek's volunteer assistant coach, Trey Hancock, led a non-school sanctioned and independent summer wrestling camp. Hancock, who is also pastor of the Dearborn Assembly of God and parent to one of the wrestlers, reportedly shared his beliefs at the camp and baptized a Muslim Fordson student into the Christian faith. That fall, Fadlallah fired Hancock and ordered the volunteer coach not to have further contact with the student wrestlers. "Subsequently, in full view of students and faculty," the lawsuit states, "Fadlallah approached the young Fordson student who had chosen to be baptized a Christian at Hancock's summer wrestling camp, punched the student and advised the student he had 'disgraced his family' by converting to Christianity from Islam." According to a statement from the Thomas More Law Center, Dearborn is one of the most densely populated Muslim communities in the United States. An estimated 30,000 of its 98,000 residents are Muslims, and roughly 80 percent of the student population of Fordson High School is Arabic, many of whom are also Muslims. Fordson Principal Imad Fadlallah | Furthermore, the lawsuit alleges, Fadlallah then banned Hancock from entering the school, ordered Marszalek to "keep Hancock out of the building" and even banned the Hancock family from helping out at school concession stands, even though Hancock's son was an All-State wrestler on Fordson's team. On or about Thanksgiving Day 2007, Hancock came to the school to register his son for an activity, an offense against Fadlallah's orders, the lawsuit claims, which led to a vocal confrontation between the principal and Marszalek, who was allegedly accused of failing to enforce Hancock's banishment. When the 2007-2008 wrestling season concluded, the lawsuit states, Fadlallah instructed the school's athletic director to be rid of Marszalek too, by refusing to even process the Christian's yearly renewal application for the coaching position, saying, "Gone. I want him gone. No appeal." Another assistant coach, who had made no application for the head coaching position, was chosen by the school to take Marszalek's place. According to the lawsuit, however, Marszalek's treatment by Fadlallah isn't isolated, but part of an intentional eradication of Christianity from the school. "Fadlallah, since assuming duties as Fordsons' principal in 2005, has systematically weeded out Christian teachers, coaches and employees and has terminated, demoted or reassigned them because of their Christian beliefs," the lawsuit continues. "Fadlallah has publicly stated 'he sees Dearborn Fordson High School as a Muslim school, both in students and faculty, and is working to that end.'" David Mustonen, a spokesman for Dearborn Public Schools, told the Detroit Free Press earlier today that the district had not yet seen the lawsuit and would therefore have to review it before making any comment.

Reply with quote | #18 | TROUBLESPEAK 'Take that thing off your head' ROTC student suspended for telling Muslim to respect flag, remove hijab Posted: August 29, 2009 11:20 pm Eastern
© 2009 WorldNetDaily | | Mark and Heather Lawrence |
Maybe it's because her dad served in the U.S. Marines ... or because her high school mascot is a fierce-looking eagle ... or because she plans to enlist in the Army next summer after graduation to defend her country ... whatever the reason, when Heather Lawrence saw a fellow student refuse to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and recite it with the class, the 16-year-old Junior ROTC member saw a teachable moment and took it. And for that, she's been suspended five days. Lawrence's troubles with administrators at Springstead High School in Spring Hill, Fla., began last Wednesday when she noticed a female Muslim student refusing to participate in the Pledge. The student was wearing a hijab, the traditional Muslim headscarf. Later in the day, Lawrence encountered the student between periods and told her she should stand for the pledge, reported Hernando Today. "Take that thing off your head and act like you're proud to be an American," Lawrence told her. Ever wonder why you keep seeing these stories of U.S. institutions advancing the cause of Islam? Get "Islam & The End Times" on DVD. Joel Richardson probes the connections you've probably never heard. Although the student walked away and filed no complaint, a teacher overheard Lawrence's comment and reported her to school administrators. On Friday, Lawrence was called to Assistant Principal Steve Crognale's office and her father was called and informed she would be suspended for five days.

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=108388 While I applaud her for standing up for her country, and while I think everyone who resides in, works in, or goes to school in, America, should ABSOLUTELY respect our flag and what it stands for. After all, they are here because they didn't like their own country, why bring it with you.
Anyway, while I applaud her, she should have left the comment of the hijab out. I know many Christian women who wear similar garb out of respect for God. I wear one when I read the Bible or pray. Just because a woman wears a head covering, doesn't make her a muslim.
But more and more, we are going to see Sharia being barged in on us. Funny how they can make mortgages for muslims because of thei 'beliefs' but yet when it comes to Christian beliefs, we are being told to keep our mouths shut. __________________ God said it, I believe it, that's it.

© 2009 WorldNetDaily An Internet blogger who has followed closely the case of a teenager who fled her Muslim family after she converted to Christianity, expressing concern she would become the victim of an "honor killing," is reporting an Internet threat to the life of the young girl. Blogger Pamela Geller, writing at Atlas Shrugs, has posted screen captures of the alleged threat to Rifqa Bary, whose future remains to be decided by a court process in Florida. "I have said from the very first that Rifqa Bary is the highest value target in America," Gellar wrote. "Apostasy is the most egregious crime against Islam. Her crime is not just against the family. It is against Islam. "I know Ohio law enforcement and Florida law enforcement found no threat to Rifqa, but perhaps they can put down the kool aid for five minutes and do their job," she continued.

Islamic Leader’s Anti-West Messages Are Lies
Dr. al-Zawahiri, many years ago, as a student at University of Cairo Medical School Mosque, when I joined Jammaa Islamia, I sat in front of you, and listened fervently to your sermons. At that time, I looked up to you as my mentor who was going to guide me through the correct path to the divine. I cannot forget your fiery speeches, enthusiastic, extraordinary charisma and your dedication to the cause of Islam. Once, I remember you placing your hand over my shoulder, telling me that my generation is the hope for Islam. I was truly captivated; I was so young and mislead by your appealing charm as many others were. As I looked deeply into your eyes, I hoped that you would lead me to find my path to spirituality. Instead, you led me into the corridor of hatred and violence. I was deceived by your sharp authoritative look and your powerful speeches, but after all, I was fortunate to recognize early enough that I was on the wrong course. You taught me and other members of the JI that the West is evil because it does not implement Shariah law. You explained that it allows women to dress as they wish, and provide them full freedom. Back then, I was deceived by your statements. But let me ask you now, which is preferable; the western system that respects basic values of freedom for women or the Salafi Islamic system that you follow that suppresses and justifies beating women, allows polygamy, permits slavery, and still promotes stoning women to death for adultery? Dr. al-Zawahiri, after all these years, I discovered that the values that you promoted for “modesty” of our Muslim women are not sincerely values of modesty as you claimed, but rather immoral means to enslave them. According to our Shariah system, a Muslim woman engaged sexually with a man on her free will, should be punished by death, yet if a man sold the same woman as a slave to the same man to engage in sex with him — against her free will — it is until now acceptable in our Islamic laws. Do you consider that moral or just? Obviously, the entire issue is not modesty for Muslim women as you claimed but rather a way to control them. http://www.newsmax.com/tawfik_hamid/zawahiri_muslims_qaida/2009/09/11/258846.html |
