Big business has destroyed the middle class, and when they are through raping us of our wealth, they will move on to other countries like China and India and pillage them too. They are evil entities that our founding fathers never dreamed about.

remember freon? as long as DuPont had the patent on it it was expensive and legal. they lost the patent after so many years and then congress banned it for the new refrigerant that just happened  to be patented by DuPont. Big surprise. The little guy has been getting shafted since I been around. If your not black or some minority then your s^&*.

G.E.’s Strategies Let It Avoid Taxes Altogether

General Electric, the nation’s largest corporation, had a very good year in 2010.

The company reported worldwide profits of $14.2 billion, and said $5.1 billion of the total came from its operations in the United States.

Its American tax bill? None. In fact, G.E. claimed a tax benefit of $3.2 billion.

Here is another example. Over the last 10 years, steel can companies have been bought out basically by one company - BALL can. Last year, as steel prices went up, they used the excuse to raise cans by 34%. This year the price of steel is down some 65%, and we just got a letter that steel cans is going to have a 48% increase Feb 1! 48% in one price increase! A gallon can was .70   14 months ago. They are now $2.72 wholesale! (that's buying 1,080 at a time!) or $4.25 each per case. Do you think the fact that they and B-WAY CAN CO have bought up every other can company has been the reason? And they had help from Uncle Sam and the EPA who shut down most of the Mom and Pop companies. Bet there were some$$$ changing hands with this one!

An expert on Bill OReilly show admitted last year that the price of gas rose by 60% during the same time demand was down by 35%. Bob is right, the market doesn't work when only a few oil companies control everything. The expert went on to say that the arabs or Opec had very little to do with the prices.

Such a tax should be made revenue neutral," he said, which requires other taxes to be lowered so that the overall tax burden isn't increased.

This was the last sentence in the article. If you believe they are going to lower taxes, my brother who lives in Arizona has some excellent ocean front property he will sell you very cheap.

Thanks for your time and have a Blessed Day.

Just a few days ago, I wrote an note on here about how this government in collusion with big business would conspire to put small businesses out of business. We are experiencing the largest assault on the small businessman ever in our short 200 years as a country. Here is a headline that fits exactly in what I predicted

U-TURN: EXXONMOBIL calls for carbon tax to tackle global warming...

The real purpose of this story is that big business likes to impose taxes on their industries that their consumers pay in higher prices, but the little company can not afford to pass on. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!

My note from yesterday:
As a small manufacturer trying to compete against the giants out there that rape their customers with out of this world pricing, I see ruff times ahead for companies like ours. We don't have the millions, to buy off Congress, city officials and other government agencies and I think the dems in Congress will really go after small business like Jimmy Carter did. I think most forgot, or never knew how many small businesses were regulated out of business by Carter. It's bribery. The big companies pay the bribes, and the politicians pay them back with selective regulations designed to put the little guy out of business.

We had a body shop in NC call the store this week. They were miffed that Dupont and PPG prices went up so much in their semi-annual price increases and wanted out catalog. I make as good as IF NOT A BETTER product than these big guys, sell it for way less than 1/2 of theirs.... WHY??? I am not hiring lobbyist to buy Congress and pay bribes. America needs to WAKE UP pretty darn soon, because we have almost run out of time.

Here is an example. A gallon kit of premium "big name" auto clear (Gallon of paint with catalyst needed to make it harden after sprayed) will cost you about $250-$300.00! We sell ours for $100-$125.00 all day long RETAIL. Are we so dumb to figure out what is happening? Should it cost $30-40,000 for a car, when 25 years ago they averaged about $10,000? Should it cost 75 cents for ONE EAR OF CORN? $4.00 for a gallon of milk? Factor in the bribery going on in your bought and paid for elected officials and then you might see what they are really worth!
